Temporary closure of canoe passes

Due to current water level conditions, we have temporarily closed the Town Lock Canoe Pass. The closure is necessary as water levels have dropped below safe operating thresholds.

Additionally, the Porters Lock Canoe Pass has also been closed due to fluctuating downstream water levels. This measure is being taken to prevent any risk of canoes dropping off the ramp, ensuring the safety of all paddlers.

We are closely monitoring the situation and will reopen Porters Lock Canoe Pass later this week if conditions stabilize and it is deemed safe to do so.
