6 of 2023 – Allington Lock Notice of Urgent Works

Works to Allington car park, lock area and campsite will be commencing from 13th March to 28th April 2023.

Allington Lock will only be operating at weekends (Sat & Sun) and closed to boat passage (Mon – Fri) from 17th March – 28th April 2023.

Allington slipway and car park will be closed to all from 13th March to the 28th April (pedestrian access to the private moorings and businesses only)

Allington campsite will be closed until the works are complete 28th April.

The boat pump out and facilities will remain open to vessels. The permissive access across the lock and sluice will remain open throughout the works. The Toll House café will remain open throughout the works.

Apologies for any inconvenience that the works will cause. Where possible, operations will be restored earlier than the date shown if works have been completed.
