Teston2

2 of 2025 - Teston Sluice Refurbishment works

watch_later 17/01/25

Dates: 12th and 13th February 2025

To assist with Teston Sluice refurbishment works, The Environment Agency will lower water levels between Teston Lock and Hampstead Lock to reduce flow and prevent cresting over the weir. This will allow the contractor to safely remove the temporary legato block dam. The reduced depths are expected to last up to 3 hours per day.

Reduced river depths can increase tension on mooring lines, causing wear, damage, and instability, risking vessel safety. Please ensure your mooring lines are secure.
