Update 07/08/2023 - The obstruction has now been cleared.

A fallen tree is causing a significant blockage to the Medway Navigation at Beltring (downstream of the Iron Train Bridge) which is restricting access to wider vessels.

The Environment Agency aims to clear the blockage as a priority and will issue an update when works have been completed.

Please navigate with extreme caution.
