Allington Pump-Out

We are pleased to confirm that following a repair and full refurbishment, the Allington pump out is now back in service.

 

Maidstone Invicta Rowing Club

Maidstone Invicta Rowing Club will be holding the Maidstone Autumn Head Race on Sunday 20th October 2024.

Boats will launch from the Maidstone Invicta Rowing Clubs steps and King’s School Boathouse from 08:00 hours and should be clear of the water by 16:00 hours. The races run on a timed basis over a course from just upstream of the Malta Inn, Allington to just before St Peter's bridge, Maidstone. There will be four divisions starting at 09:15, 11:00, 12:45 and 14:30 hours. Each race should last between 30 and 45 minutes.

Would all other river users please give the rowers unhindered passage during race times. Vessels travelling upstream from Allington Lock may be asked to wait until a race has been completed.
