13 of 2023 - Yalding Lifting Bridge Closure

The Yalding Lifting Bridge is currently out of order and unavailable for operation. Please be advised of the following details:

Due to a mechanical breakdown on the morning of the 8th July, Yalding Lifting Bridge will be temporarily out of service until further notice.

The closure is necessary to address technical issues and ensure the bridge's functionality is restored as soon as possible.

Our engineers will return to work early in the week commencing 10th July to complete the repairs and restore normal bridge operations.

As there are no alternative routes, this is an effective closure of the navigation for most powered craft at this location.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused and appreciate your patience during this period.

We will provide further communication once the repairs are complete, and the bridge is operational again.
