We’re pleased to inform you that Allington Lock has been successfully repaired following a rapid response from our engineering team. Thanks to their swift and effective work, there has been no loss of service, and the lock is now fully operational and available for immediate use for this evening’s tide.

We extend our sincere thanks to everyone involved in the prompt and professional repair effort.

Due to a mechanical failure of one of the lock collars, Allington Lock is closed with immediate effect.

We are currently awaiting an emergency engineer visit to assess the situation and plan the necessary repairs.
